Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, or simply feeling stuck in life, I can help you navigate through these challenges with empathy and expertise.

I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing that each individual is unique and requires personalized care. I combine evidence-based techniques with a warm and non-judgmental environment, creating a space where you can freely express yourself and explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Are you accepting new clients?

Yes! I’m currently accepting new clients and would love to work with you. Feel free to book a 15-minute meet-and-greet call to see if I’m the right fit for your needs. 

How much do you charge?

My current rate for individuals is $115 for a 60-minute session. Couples sessions are $130 for a 60-minute session (Initial session of 90 minutes) and Family counselling is $150 for 60 minutes. 
Insurance: Counselling Therapy is covered by most individual insurance companies. Consult with your insurance provider to inquire about your coverage.

What is your approach to therapy?

My approach is trauma-informed, person-centred and holistic. This means that I will work collaboratively with you to find the best path to move forward toward healing and wholeness. We often explore how our past experiences inform what is happening for you currently. 
My practice is informed by many different theories and modalities. Some I commonly use are:

CBT, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Theory, ACT, and Narrative Therapy

Do you offer a discounted rate?

I currently hold two discounted therapy spaces for individuals for whom finances may be a barrier. To inquire about whether a spot is currently available and to apply, please email hannah@knowncounselling.ca

What is the first session like?

I know how intimidating it can be to start something new. The first session is all about getting to know you and discussing what you would like to get out of our sessions together. My goal in this session is to help you to feel comfortable with me and the therapeutic process. 

Do you offer faith based counselling?

Spirituality is well known to be an important part of wellness. If a faith-based perspective is of value to you, please let me know.
